Temporary E-Discovery Attorney at Reed Smith (Pittsburgh, PA)

Position Summary

E-Discovery Attorneys are a part of a Pittsburgh, PA-based team that conducts document reviews using various litigation software tools. In addition to responsiveness, privilege and key document reviews, e-Discovery attorneys also assist with ESI collections, privilege log preparation, special discovery projects, deposition and trial preparation. At present, we are looking for E-Discovery Attorneys who are licensed in good standing, in the Commonwealth of PA and who will be engaged on a project basis and paid on an hourly rate for hours worked. The duration of employment is approximately one month beginning immediately. More details regarding the nature of the position will be provided during interviews. Must have experience analyzing credit agreements. Prior large-scale document review experience strongly preferred. Available to start as soon as possible.

  • Ability to substantively review documents using various litigation support software tools.
  • Must work cohesively with team members in a very collaborative environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Proficient in MS suite of software including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to providing high quality legal service to clients

Requirements

Education:

Juris Doctor. Qualified candidates must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of Pennsylvania. During employment, must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice.

Experience:

Strong academic credentials, large law firm experience and prior electronic document review experience preferred. Foreign language proficiency a plus, but not a requirement.

Skills:

Experience with a variety of different litigation support tools (such as Concordance, Ringtail, Relativity, Recommind, Autonomy, Kroll or Nuix) preferred.
