Associate - Employment, Labor & Workforce Management: Cybersecurity

Epstein Becker & Green is seeking an attorney to work at the level of a mid or senior associate to join its national management-side labor and employment practice, with a focus on cybersecurity and data privacy. This position requires a heavy focus within the technology sector with an emphasis on cybersecurity, data privacy, AI, etc. This position will be in New York, DC, or one of our other major offices within the US. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of four years experience in privacy and cybersecurity law, focusing on advising on privacy and security obligations and handling data security incidents. Experience with regulatory investigations related to privacy and security. Candidates also must have experience handling all aspects of litigation such as interviewing witnesses, reviewing electronically stored documents, drafting pleadings and various motions and briefs, conducting, and defending depositions, interacting with clients and opposing counsel, and attending court appearances. Experience advising clients on privacy and security obligations, ensuring compliance with federal and state security laws. The expected salary range for this position is $290,000 - $315,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered. In addition to the base salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
