Seyfarth Shaw LLP is seeking a part-time staff attorney to join our Labor & Employment department in the Chicago office. Successful candidates will have 3 or more years of increasingly responsible experience in employment, commercial or insurance litigation. Candidates should have familiarity with federal court practice or the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission ("EEOC") and possibly other federal, state and local government administrative agencies. Candidates should have extensive writing experience and the ability to handle a practice that includes, file review, preparing case analysis memoranda, position statements, pleadings, participating in interviews and fact-finding conferences, attending routine court hearings, attending mediation or conciliation meetings, and negotiating settlement agreements.
