The global law firm of K&L Gates seeks to hire a Banking and Asset Finance Associate to join their Charlotte office.

The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience and be able to assist in transactions involving the representation of financial institutions, such as commercial mortgage-backed securitizations, the purchase and sale of servicing rights, defeasances and large scale finance transactions.


Prior experience representing financial institutions in their roles as issuer, trustee, master servicer or special servicer is preferred. The following are required:

• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Sharp analytical skills and strong drafting abilities
