A minimum of 1 year experience is required and 2-3+ years of immigration practice is highly preferred. Any candidate must speak fluent Spanish. Florida Bar licensed attorneys have an advantage. References will be requested. Background checks and drug screenings may be a potential requirement. The job requires excellent research and drafting skills, and the ability to manage a volume caseload, and oversee workflow and assist in preparation for and attendance at USCIS, handling Immigration Court Master Calendar Hearings, and ICE/ERO events.
