Bankruptcy Attorney - Independent Contractor - High Stakes Chapter 11 and Litigation

An investment firm is seeking a highly experienced bankruptcy attorney to serve as lead counsel in a high-profile, multi-year Chapter 11 bankruptcy case involving adverse parties, fraud allegations, and substantial creditor claims. This role is structured as an independent contractor position with a guaranteed $35,000 monthly retainer for a minimum 12-month commitment, with a strong likelihood of an extended engagement.Due to the complexity of this case—including potential Ponzi scheme elements, ongoing litigation, and extensive creditor negotiations—we are bringing this role in-house on a contract basis to ensure strategic, cost-effective legal representation.
