Job Summary:Highly successful plaintiff’s personal injury firm seeks ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY with 7+ years experience in Labor Law 240 and 241(6) and NYS Industrial Code. Must have strong legal research and writing skills; effective communication and ability to collaborate with legal professionals; proficient with OUTLOOK, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Westlaw and NYSCEF e-filingResponsibilities:Handle a caseload of personal injury cases, focusing on labor law construction casesLitigate cases from inception to resolution, including court appearances and negotiationsAppear for depositions of our clients as well as conduct the depositions of defendantsConduct legal research to support case strategies and prepare legal documentsCollaborate with legal professionals and clients to develop effective case strategiesRepresent clients in court, hearings, and other legal proceedingsNegotiate settlements and communicate with opposing counsel
