Prestigious Coral Gables law firm seeks a Legal Nurse Consultant/Medical Investigator withexperience in drafting expert affidavits and notice of intent letters to comply with Florida’smedical malpractice presuit requirements. Additional responsibilities include collecting andanalyzing medical records; cross-checking facts; verifying accuracy and authenticity of theinformation; preparing chronologies; defining the applicable standard of care and noting anydeviations from and adherences to the standard of care; assessing alleged damages/injuries;identifying potential parties to the case; locating, interviewing, and preparing experts; andcomposing, organizing, and filing legal documents. At least 3 years of relevant law firmexperience preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Bi-lingual preferred but notrequired.
