McDermott's growing life sciences and FDA practice is seeking an associate with 2-5 years' experience for the Washington, D.C. office.

Candidates should have legal experience working on matters relating to and arising out of FDA regulation of drugs, devices and biological products, and/or biomedical innovation. Qualified candidates would have experience working on some (but not necessarily all) of the following areas: the regulation of drug, device and/or biological products, including legal issues relating to clinical research and clinical trial oversight, marketing applications, compliance and enforcement, manufacturing, marketing and distribution, post-market surveillance, conflict of interest, privacy, and/or security and data strategies.

Candidate should have excellent analytical skills, writing skills, and academic records.
