The Downtown Los Angeles office seeks an associate attorney with approximately 6 years of corporate transactional experience (Class of 2006 or 2007). Extensive and continuous experience of running mergers and acquisition transactions is required. Preferred candidates will have significant, hands on experience managing deals in this area at a law firm with a national reputation. The associate must be comfortable with drafting and negotiating complex documents, and running deals from start to finish, interacting with other practice groups within his or her firm and outside advisors and managing client expectations. The ability to work with other team members and clients, and "take ownership" of projects, is essential. Top academics and outstanding writing skills are required. Associates already admitted to practice in California are preferred.
