Haynes and Boone's Dallas office is seeking a junior associate with 1-3 years of experience to join our Technology Transactions and Outsourcing practice group. The associate will be joining our group of experienced attorneys representing large, mid-size, and startup companies in a wide range of technology and outsourcing transactions. The ideal candidate will have experience with software licensing, development and maintenance agreements; patent, copyright and trademark licenses; and technology and business process outsourcing agreements. Experience providing advice on open source and data privacy matters is a plus. A firm understanding of computer programming and/or networking is not necessary, although a college degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering or physics is preferred. Candidates must have strong academic credentials and excellent writing and interpersonal skills, and should enjoy working with others in a team-oriented setting.
