The Life Sciences Corporate Partnering & Licensing group is seeking an Associate to join the team in Reston, VA, Washington, DC or Boston. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of significant experience representing life sciences companies in the structuring, negotiation and drafting of complex commercial and intellectual property transactions, including license, collaboration, co-development, clinical trial, supply and other agreements, in either a private law firm or in-house position. Corporate, patent and/or experience representing life sciences companies in heavily negotiated business transactions such as mergers and acquisitions would be a plus; related litigation experience also would be considered. Technical degree in biology or chemistry and/or knowledge of pharmaceutical, medical device and/or diagnostics industries is helpful but not required. EOE.
