Description
We are looking for an associate with 2 years of experience in corporate and securities matters and mergers and acquisitions. We offer challenging work, an entrepreneurial and collegial environment, and a unique opportunity to work with growing practice groups within the Corporate & Securities section.
Responsibilities
Support a diverse corporate practice, reporting primarily to senior attorneys in San Francisco and San Diego. Opportunity to work with public and private companies and venture capital and private equity investors in industries such as clean tech, life sciences and retail and consumer products.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in corporate and securities matters and mergers and acquisitions. Experience in venture capital and private equity transactions preferred, but experience with public offerings and 34 Act compliance also valued. The candidate should have excellent communication and writing skills and a strong academic background including a JD from a top-tier law school. Admission to the California State Bar is required.
