Harris Beach PLLC/Albany, NY

Serve as counsel to developers, development corporations, bond issuers and other municipal and quasi-municipal organizations and businesses on all types of public and private finance, economic development and commercial real property development transactions.

Responsibilities:

Work on deal structure and tax credit structure to facilitate project development
Provide tax credit analysis and public approval process counsel
Work on taxable and tax-exempt transactions, including conventional and non-conventional structures, private placements and public offerings
Draft finance, disclosure and real estate documents

Qualifications:

1-2 years legal experience in public finance and/or municipal experience preferred
Business/financial background preferred, MBA a plus
Must be able to function effectively in an extremely busy, team oriented environment
Some overnight travel required
Must be admitted in New York
Must have excellent research and writing skills
Must be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing
Military experience a plus
