Ideal Candidate

We have a need for a State and Local Tax Associate in the New York office.

• The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of state and local tax experience in handling the following:
  • analyzing multistate tax issues primarily in the income and franchise tax, sales and use tax, and unclaimed property areas
  • preparing legal memoranda
  • drafting petitions, complaints, discovery requests and responses
  • preparing motions and briefs
• Tax controversy experience is preferred.
• The position requires strong research, analytical and writing skills and an interest in multistate litigation.
• Strong academic credentials in law school coursework are essential and a writing sample is required.
• Bar Admission in New York is required.
