Ideal Candidate

We have an urgent need for an Environment & Energy Associate in the San Francisco office.

• The ideal candidate will be a high performer with 2 - 4 years of significant experience in environmental and land use law and litigation, with experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • counseling clients on compliance with federal, state and local environmental and land use regulatory requirements, including water, air, waste, toxics, wetlands, endangered species, land use planning, and environmental review
  • obtaining state and federal approvals and permits for development projects, including world class technology companies, health care providers, renewable energy developers and producers, commercial and residential developers, and public entities
  • litigation, including defense of environmental, natural resources, land use, NEPA/CEQA, and consumer products litigation and citizen suits
• The ability to concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form is required.
• A strong work ethic, excellent leadership skills, and action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility will add to your success on our team.
• Bar Admission in California is required.
