Ideal Candidate

We have a need for a Financial Transactions Associate in the San Francisco or New York office.

• The ideal candidate will have 2 - 6 years of experience representing banks and other institutional lenders in debt finance, credit and construction finance facilities, M&A finance, and other related transactions.
• Knowledge of UCC Article 9 is essential, as well as extensive experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Bilateral, syndicated and construction credit facilities, M&A financing, intercreditor relationships, letters of credit, credit facilities secured by a variety of collateral (including real estate, energy projects, securities and intellectual property assets), and bankruptcy issues (as they relate to credit transactions)
• Knowledge of project finance is desirable but, not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are key: ability to concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form to your team and clients.
• A strong work ethic, excellent leadership skills, and action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility for client matters will add to your success on our team.
• Strong academic credentials in law coursework at a top-tier law school are highly valued.
• Bar Admission in California and/or New York is preferred but, not a deal breaker.
