A Mid-Level Lateral Associate with at least 3 years of law firm experience is needed for the Business Practice Group in our Birmingham, Michigan office. All candidates must have experience handling a variety of transactional matters including drafting and negotiating business transaction documents; evaluating and drafting stock and asset purchase agreements; forming business entities and drafting related documents; and reviewing and negotiating supply agreements and other ongoing business documents. All candidates should have experience with the full life-cycle of a transaction, from letters of intent to due diligence to closing. Qualified candidates must have significant experience working with member level attorneys and clients directly and must be able to handle and manage discrete projects independently. Successful candidates will be detail-oriented and should possess a solid work ethic and strong interpersonal skills.
