Schiff Hardin LLP is seeking an associate with four years of experience (2010 J.D.) for its General Litigation practice in Chicago. The ideal candidate would have significant class action and complex litigation experience. In addition, the ideal candidate would have significant experience writing briefs, taking and defending depositions, drafting pleadings, drafting affirmative and responsive discovery, and experience with routine and complex filings plus some courtroom experience (handling routine court appearances, arguing motions, and/or presenting witnesses). Strong academic record and excellent electronic data management skills, research, writing, and oral communication skills are required. Illinois Bar admission is preferred.
