Patent Prosecution Associates with 2-4 years of patent prosecution experience to work in the firm's Life Sciences patent group in the Austin office. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills, superior academic credentials with backgrounds in one of the following fields: chemistry, biochemistry, medicinal chemistry, organic synthetic chemistry, organic chemistry, cellular/molecular biology, genetics, immunology, cancer biology, biophysics, mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, or similar programs. Current Patent Bar membership with previous law firm experience.

Candidates are expected to draft and prosecute patent applications, prepare patent opinion letters, provide IP counseling to clients, and conduct patent due diligence studies in connection with business transactions.
