Description

Patent Prosecution Associates with 2-4 years of patent prosecution experience to work in the firm's Life Sciences patent group in the Palo Alto office. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills, superior academic credentials with backgrounds in one of the following fields: organic chemistry, molecular biology, biochemistry, pharmacology or chemical engineering. Candidates are expected to draft and prosecute patent applications, prepare patent opinion letters, provide IP counseling to clients, and conduct patent due diligence studies in connection with business transactions. Advanced degree preferred.
