Job Description:
Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, LLP seeks several highly qualified patent agents and patent prosecution associates to join the intellectual property practice in our Silicon Valley office. Candidates must be registered with the USPTO. Candidates should have 2+ years experience in one or more of the following areas:

Materials Science--preferably working knowledge of amorphous metals
Electrical Engineering-- preferably wireless telephony, LTE, UMTS, WiFi
Mechanical Engineering
Software-- preferably database, backup, virtualization, programming languages, operating systems (e.g.; OSX, UNIX, iOS), security/authentication, HDCP, Web-based programming languages (HTML and XML), consumer electronics (tablet computer and media players), Internet, and Web-based software.
