St. Louis, MO: Healthcare Associate – Polsinelli PC, a national law firm, is currently seeking a mid to mid-level associate to join our national healthcare practice. Minimum qualifications include at least three to six (3-6) years of experience in healthcare matters. Transactional experience is preferred. Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas: healthcare fraud and abuse prevention laws such as the federal anti-kickback statute, False Claims Act and Stark law; health information privacy, including HIPAA and the HITECH Act; Medicare and private payer billing and reimbursement, medical staff matters; compliance issues for healthcare providers and hospital/physician alignment issues. The successful candidate will benefit from immediate client contact in a dynamic practice group as a part of a collegial firm. Polsinelli is particularly interested in those candidates who have the ambition and drive to help grow our national practice in healthcare. Candidates should have excellent academic credentials, superior writing, communication and problem-solving skills.
