Kilpatrick Townsend's Atlanta office is seeking an associate with 5+ years experience, preferably in a large law firm. The associate should have significant experience in securities law and M&A transactions, including representing publicly-traded companies in such matters. Desired skill sets include: the ability to serve as the lead associate on a wide variety of deals—including securities offerings, particularly corporate bond offerings, and M&A deals; the ability to be the principal associate level reviewer/drafter of SEC reports and M&A transaction documents for sophisticated public and private clients, and to be able to directly advise clients on SEC issues; and familiarity with corporate governance principles for public companies.
