The Seattle Office of Perkins Coie LLP is seeking a junior or mid-level associate to join its Tax, Benefits and Compensation practice. Candidates must have strong academic credentials and at least two years of experience handling ERISA and/or tax drafting and compliance matters for qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, equity-based compensation programs and agreements, or other compensatory arrangements. Experience in the context of mergers and acquisitions and deferred compensation arrangements (including experience with Code Section 409A) is preferred. Also preferred is a candidate with experience representing both publicly-traded and private clients at an AmLaw 100 law firm.
