The ideal candidate will have 3 – 5 years of experience in a general corporate and/or securities practice at a major law firm with a strong desire to “retool” his or her practice. Familiarity with derivatives and/or structured finance is preferred but not required. Cadwalader’s Financial Services Group has a history of successfully retraining associates with a general corporate and securities background to become experts in derivatives and structured finance. A successful candidate will have strong written, interpersonal and oral and written communication skills/ Financial background with quantitative skills are strongly preferred. The ability to be a creative thinker while working under pressure is a must.
