Description: The primary responsibility of this position is to handle consumer litigation for a large bank client in defending against mortgage-related claims for wrongful foreclosure, title challenge, predatory lending, violation of unfair trade practices, violation of financial consumer acts (RESPA, TILA, FCRA, ECOA, etc.), fraud, and servicing errors. The position is not a partnership track position. Search firm submissions will not be accepted.

Qualifications include:

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school, with current admission in North Carolina;
• Excellent academic credentials;
• Financial services and/or mortgage litigation experience preferred;
• Previous federal and state court experience preferred;
• Ability to manage a large case-load efficiently;
• Excellent legal research and writing skills;
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment;
• Ability to provide excellent client service;
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
