Goodwin Procter seeks a highly qualified mid-level associate to join our CFS Banking group. Candidate must have experience and expertise advising banks, bank holding companies, mortgage companies and other financial institutions on a variety of regulatory and transactional matters such as mergers, acquisitions and conversions from mutual to stock form; regulatory, compliance and enforcement issues; the operation of payments networks; and the offering of all types of financial service and payment products. Knowledge and understanding of federal and state laws affecting banking and consumer financial services and represents clients on federal and state legislative and regulatory matters before government agencies is key.

Candidates applying for attorney positions with Goodwin Procter should have outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Massachusetts bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) required.
