The Hartford office seeks an associate with 2 - 4 years of complex litigation experience. Superior academic credentials, excellent writing and analytical skills and admission to the Connecticut bar required. New Yorkbar admission, law review experience, judicial clerkship experience or large-firm or equivalent experience are a plus.The successful candidate will be expected to assume substantial responsibility for property and casualty insurance coverage litigation and unfair trade practices litigation,including drafting of briefs on critical motions and appeals, management of discovery, depositions and court appearances.Some out-of-state travel is required.
