The Ballard Spahr Energy and Project Finance Group is seeking a two to four year project finance associate for our Washington D.C. office. The team represents both major developers/borrowers, as well as lenders, and focuses on renewable energy transactions. The right candidate will have grounding in project finance documentation, whether or not focused on the energy sector, and/or tax equity experience. Experience having closed transactions is very important. Ballard gives significant responsibility to young associates, with substantial client contact and a fundamental emphasis on teamwork. The firm also encourages involvement of associates in marketing and business development, allowing for personal interaction with clients and the energy industry at conferences and in other settings.
