The ideal candidate will be familiar with preparing and submitting HSR filings. The candidate will also be familiar with the identification, gathering and submission of “4(c) documents” as part of the HSR process. Additionally, the candidate will be familiar with the governing rules and be able to analyze and gather the information needed to analyze whether proposed transactions are HSR-reportable. Candidates should also have experience interfacing with the DOJ Antitrust Division and the FTC regarding HSR Filings. Experience working with counsel in foreign jurisdictions regarding whether proposed transactions may or must be reported in those jurisdictions and assisting foreign counsel in ensuring consistency of information across the filings in various jurisdictions is preferred. Experience working with the DOJ Antitrust Division and the FTC regarding whether a second request will be issued, and if so negotiating the economic issues to which it should be directed is a plus
