The Private Investment Funds group seeks highly qualified mid-level associate to join the Firm in the Hartford, CT office.

Candidates must have general experience both working in teams and in managing substantial components of transactions/investments independently. Specific experience should include merger and acquisition transactions, growth equity and venture capital transactions and exits for various types of investment management clients, including private equity sponsors, independent sponsors, hedge fund sponsors and the investors in such types of clients (e.g., pension funds, family offices, etc.).

  Fund formation and structuring experience is preferred. Experience with the Investment Advisers Act, Securities Act, Dodd Frank, CFTC and FINRA rules and regulations as they apply to alternative investment funds is highly desired. Connecticut bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) required. New York bar admission preferred.
