Job Description:

Our Energy & Environmental Practice Group is seeking to hire an experienced Project Finance Associate. The position is based in Nixon Peabody’s New York City office, but qualified candidates residing in Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, or Washington, DC will be considered.

Qualified candidates will have excellent academic credentials, superb communication and writing skills, a commitment to excellence and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of law firm experience on energy-related project finance and M&A transactions on behalf of project developers, equity investors and financing parties. The ideal candidates will also have familiarity with PTC and ITC structures for renewable energy projects, and private equity investor issues and strategies, energy hedging and will have significant project finance debt experience.
