Schiff Hardin LLP is seeking an associate for its Intellectual Property practice group in its New York or Washington, D.C. office. The ideal candidate would have two to three years (2010 to 2012 J.D.) of patent litigation experience in the electrical engineering field. A degree in Electrical Engineering and experience with depositions, expert reports, and discovery management are preferred. In addition, the ideal candidate would have a background as a patent agent with electrical engineering prosecution experience. Strong academic record and strong research, writing, and oral communication skills are required. Candidates should also have an attorney license that is in good standing in the state in which the candidate would practice.
