Junior to Midlevel Corporate Associate at K&L Gates LLP (Palo Alto, CA)

The global law firm of K&L Gates seeks to hire a junior to midlevel emerging growth and corporate/M&A associate to join its dynamic Palo Alto practice.

We seek candidates with 2 to 5 years of experience in representing emerging growth companies with financings, project development and exit transactions. Experience with mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings and general corporate counseling is desirable. The ideal candidate will be able to manage M&A and finance transactions, as well as general corporate work with oversight from partners and senior associates. Mandarin language skills are strongly preferred.


We require outstanding academic credentials, excellent oral and written communication skills, a commitment to providing the highest quality client service, and demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. Our associates work closely with our clients and are expected to assume increasing levels of responsibility. Prior experience in a sophisticated law firm practice is required. The successful candidate will have the goal of becoming partner, be an enthusiastic contributor to the Firm and office culture, and have a collaborative approach to his/her work environment.
