Our Chicago office seeks to add a patent attorney with 3 or more years of legal experience.
Candidates with a bachelor of science in electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering (or similar) are preferred. Other intellectual property or business experience is also preferred in the areas of engineering, patent prosecution and technology licensing. Must be admitted to the Patent Bar.
The successful candidate will be involved in a wide variety of legal activities in Ice Miller's Intellectual Property Practice Group. Attorneys in this group are experienced in all facets of domestic and foreign patent prosecution in all technological areas. In addition the Group has extensive experience in licensing, technology transactions, intellectual property protection and enforcement, and all other activities related to the procurement and enforcement of intellectual property in the USA and abroad.
