Our Chicago office seeks to add a patent attorney with 3 or more years of legal experience.

Candidates with a bachelor or masters of science (possibly Ph.D.) in chemical (preferred) or mechanical engineering. Other intellectual property or business experience is also preferred in the areas of engineering, patent prosecution, litigation and/or technology licensing. Must be admitted to the Patent Bar.


The successful candidate will be involved in a wide variety of legal activities in Ice Miller's Intellectual Property Practice Group. Attorneys in this group are experienced in all facets of domestic and foreign patent prosecution in all technological areas, as well as enforcement matters, including District Court litigation and PTAB proceedings. In addition the Group has extensive experience in licensing, technology transactions, intellectual property protection and enforcement, and all other activities related to the procurement and enforcement of intellectual property in the USA and abroad.
