Carlton Fields Jorden Burt is seeking a first- to third-year associate with transactional experience and having a strong interest in a national commercial real estate practice. Experience working with real property and mortgage loan documents is strongly preferred. Excellent academic credentials and demonstrated writing skills are also required.

The ideal candidate will be admitted to practice in Connecticut (but the firm is willing to consider strong candidates seeking to relocate to Hartford), have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, while being able to work individually, on client matters in an environment where drive and client service are valued. Substantive prior non-legal experience in the real estate industry is a plus.
