Ideal Candidate

We have a need for a project finance attorney with experience in the regulation of the California energy markets. The attorney can reside in our San Francisco or Los Angeles office.

• The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience, preferably including experience at the California Public Utilities Commission and the California Energy Commission, related to:
  • representing utilities and/or developers, sponsors, and/or banks and other institutional lenders in matters involving California energy regulation
  • PPAs, the IOU RFP process, ESPs, direct access, California RPS proceedings, CEC licensing and siting experience, and CAISO is desirable
• Candidates must be team players with excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills: ability to concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form is key.
• Strong academic credentials in law school coursework are essential.
• Position hours are flexible up to full-time.
