As part of the continued growth of its business practice, Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP, has an opening for a 3-5 year tax associate in its Atlanta office as part of its Tax and Funds and Alternative Investments Groups.
The preferred candidate will also have practical transactional experience drafting operating agreements, partnership agreements, real estate fund agreements and other fund documents. The applicant must possess top academic credentials. Large law firm experience strongly preferred while an LLM in tax or accounting background is a plus, although not required.
The successful candidate will assist clients in tax planning and structuring for mergers and acquisitions as well as working commercial real estate developers and other real estate operating businesses and investment funds with the structuring, formation and operation of funds, joint ventures and operating companies.
