The Chicago office has an immediate need for an associate with at least five years of prior real estate experience. Responsibilities may include: a) managing purchase, sale, loan, and lease negotiations and transactions; b) drafting key transaction documents; c) performing due diligence for transactions, including reviewing title, survey, and other due diligence deliverables, and d) coordinating closing matters with clients as well as title companies, surveyors, and other third parties. Significant experience in real estate purchases, sales, financing, and leasing is required. Experience in representing lenders, equity investors, and developers is preferable.

As an associate in the real estate practice, you will be an integral member of the department and will gain meaningful experience working with our attorneys and Fortune 500 clients.

Qualifications include:

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school, with current admission in Illinois;
• Excellent academic credentials;
• At least five years prior real estate experience;
• Previous law firm experience;
