The New York office is seeking a 2nd – 3rd year bankruptcy and financial restructuring associate. Candidates should have solid experience at a firm with a substantial bankruptcy practice doing bankruptcy work and corporate and financial restructurings. Candidates should be experienced with creditor committee and other unofficial or official committee work, bond holders and indenture trustees or other creditor representations. Candidates should be excellent writers who can draft and edit. Candidates should have demonstrated ability to manage and be part of team and have a willingness and ability to mentor and to teach. Candidates should be confident enough to work independently at a high level. Southern District or Delaware clerkship a plus. Large firm experience a plus. Partners and counsel will participate in the development and supervision of the associate.
