Quarles & Brady LLP, an Am Law 200 law firm, seeks a highly qualified associate with 2-6 years of investment management experience to join its Business Law Group. Applicants should have experience with the Investment Company Act, the Investment Advisers Act and other federal securities laws in connection with the representation of investment advisers, broker-dealers, mutual funds, hedge funds, and private equity funds in their formation and ongoing operation. Securities reporting and compliance experience is also helpful, as is experience in general corporate law and mergers and acquisitions. Applicants should demonstrate good judgment and responsiveness to client needs and deadlines, be attentive to detail and be able to manage multiple projects and transactions with supervision.
