Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP seeks a full-time staff attorney for the Bloomfield Hills office. This position will assist the firm’s real estate attorneys in various aspects of real estate transactions, including drafting operating agreements, partnership agreements, joint venture agreements and related transaction documents; reviewing mortgage loan documents; conducting due diligence; and assisting with closings. Candidates preferably will have experience drafting operating agreements, partnership agreements and joint venture agreements with complex provisions including promotes and preferred returns, as well as familiarity with non-competes and buy-sell agreements. General tax knowledge and experience with entity structure requirements imposed by mortgage lenders is desirable but not required. 5 years experience in real estate/business transactions is preferred.
